Calling All Collectors

I was recently inspired by a post at Brabourne Farm that was all about collections and it got me thinking...maybe I should start collecting something! I do have somewhat of a cross collection but I'd like to begin collecting something kind of quirky, perhaps a key collection. Guess we'll just have to see what I come across, I'll keep y'all updated! Anyways, here are some of my favorite images of collections...

When I thought button collection, I thought tons of buttons sewn on a sweater Grandma style. This collection is much prettier and so interesting; the different mixes of shapes and colors is beautiful!
Isn't this collection of "T's" so interesting?
I LOVE these keys! I definitely think this is the collection that I'll be trying to start.
IMAGES FROM: visualxchange, house and garden magazine, country living, cottage vine, and flickr.

So what do all of you collect? And how do you display that collection? If you don't collect anything is there something that you'd love to start collecting?

I think collecting unsual and old keys would be great. You could display them in a big frame on the wall. I don't collect anything in particular but I am sure that if I looked around the house I would find mini collections of lots of things...candles, vases, etc.

Love that last photo with all the keys - what a great display idea. I've often thought buttons in a particular shade of colour would look great displayed in a bottle but nothing's come of my idea so far :)

Amanda: I think buttons are great and really so cheap and easy to collect!

Nellie: I love the idea of the keys in a frame.

I have three collections - buttons, keys and china teacups:) I am sure that whatever you are drawn to, you will have lots of fun collecting and displaying them Carly:) I loved that image of all the white teapots and those starfish are cute too! ~ Tina x
