Cravin' a Card Catalog

I've been catching up on my episodes of Nate this weekend, and I just loved the episode with Jennifer Nettles, one of the lead singers from the country band Sugarland.

She talked to Nate about one of her favorite home decor books, Recycled Home. Recycled Home is all about using the old things that we find or already own, re-purposing them, and giving them new uses. I'm going to have to check this book out, it sounds like it's right up my alley.

During Jennifer's segment with Nate, she mentioned an old library card catalog that she uses in her home to store gift wrapping and office supplies. I couldn't find the picture of Jennifer's card catalog, but I fell in love with this idea. How perfect would an old card catalog be in an office? Or used as jewelry storage in a bedroom?

Because of the rise in technology and computers, libraries no longer use card catalogs to file their books, so these babies are now considered "antique" and "vintage."

Um, hello!
I rest my case.
I must have one
