Today, is the start of my last semester of school. Today is a little different than the other "first days" of the semester, because today is my first day of student teaching. During my time student teaching, I will be teaching full-time, 8-5, every day in an area school. This last semester is basically the equivalence of an internship in teaching.
Unfortunately, returning back to a full-time school schedule will make blogging a little harder. BUT, I promise to do my best to keep up. I plan to write a lot of my posts over the weekend and schedule them to occur through the week {speaking of, this is my first post that I've scheduled to show up at a certain time. I guess if you're reading this, it worked!}. I'll probably do most of my blog reading and commenting on the weekend as well. So no worries, I promise that those posts will be read!
So, in sticking with the school and teaching theme of today. I wanted to show you a super adorable baby shower idea {originally designed by Amy Atlas Events}, that I recently saw over at A Chi Chi Affair. I absolutely loved this idea, as I'm studying to be a teacher. Such a perfect idea for any teacher that you may know.
You can use a typical composition notebook for your guest book. Such a cute, affordable idea.
School themed food too. Apples, soups, and sandwiches. So easy.
A milk and cookie bar...yummy!
Love the little touches of apples, pencils, and book decor, too.
And using a brown bag for little gifts for the guests, couldn't be easier.

Congrats on the teaching gig! I come from a long line of teachers, I appreciate all of the time and money that you all spend to make a difference in a little ones life.
I saw this idea and had to bookmark it for a shower I'll be throwing for a teacher this summer. Such brilliant ideas.
