People are so worried about what they eat between Christmas and New Year, but they really should be worried about what they eat between the New Year and Christmas. -Unknown
Be always at war with your vices, at peace with your neighbors,
and let each new year find you a better man. -Benjamin Franklin
Happy New Year's y'all! I know it's a little early, but I am heading out of town for the next few days to spend the New Year's holiday with my family at my parent's lake house. It's a wonderful tradition that involves family, friends, fireworks, and fondue. Oh..and the dreaded, obligatory New Year's resolution. Okay, maybe I'm being a little dramatic but I think most of us don't always love making them. But this year I decided to have a different attitude about it and to make a resolution that I can actually achieve!
My New Year's resolution this year is to become and stay more organized. Yes, I admit it..I can be quite the pack-rat/slob at times and I know this annoys my extremely clean, OCD husband..if only he knew that I wish I could be more like him in that way. Anyways, the goal this year is to keep my house cleaner and more organized and find attractive and simple ways to keep my house that way.
What about you guys..what are your New Year's resolutions? And do you have any good advice on helping me stay organized and finding an attractive/simple way to do it?
I look forward to coming back and reading more about y'alls New Year's celebrations and about your resolutions for 2010. I hope you each have an exciting and blessed start to the new year!
