My Christmas Rendition

A couple of posts ago, I posted this picture from Country Living,
and stated that I was gonna recreate a little something like this.

And here is my rendition...

I quickly learned that Christmas light bulbs are pretty expensive...on average I was looking at about 50 cents to a dollar for each bulb. And while that price might be okay for a few bulbs, I needed at least 20 and I wasn't willing to pay that kind of money.

Luckily, Target was selling these tiny tubes of 10 glittery styrofoam ornaments, so I bought two tubes and filled up this vase that I already owned. The vase sits on a little bookshelf in my living room. The bookshelf holds all of my school books during the school year.

Nice & easy...my favorite kind of decor. My rendition is obviously really different to the original picture, and it's really similar to a lot of ornament arrangements, but that's okay...I'm lovin' it!

Okay...now back to that paper. Love to all. x

PS: I am looking for a completed DIY project for next week's Turnaround Tuesday. Please email me if you're interested...my email is under my "contact me" heading to the right.
