I recently came across the link to the HGTV dream home at a fellow home design blog and completely fell in love with it! I rarely enter into large sweepstakes like this one, but this time I just couldn't help it. Have you seen the pictures? Well here they are just in case...
Here is the beautiful home located in New Mexico. I really have begun to love this minimal, Southwestern style and architecture. The simplicity is extremely calming to me.
Look at this view! This bench is located outside of the front of the home. I would love to wrap up in a blanket with a cup of coffee each morning on that bench.
This is the entryway of the home. Beautiful hardwood floors and neutral colors.
Beautiful sitting area and gas fireplace off of the entry.
Kitchen; love the bar seating at the counter.
Butler's pantry...look at all that cabinet space!
Dining room.
Home office...I love the Native American painting on the back wall. It's gorgeous and pops with the neutral walls and decor.
Home theater; cozy and comfy.
Guest bedroom.
Master bedroom. There are so many things I love about this bedroom...the chandeliers on either side of the bed, the natural wood ceiling is gorgeous, and those windows!
Sitting area on the opposite side of the bed with a beautifully tiled glass fireplace that can be seen from both sides of the room.
Another view of the room. Check out those doors going into the master bathroom.

Love the bathtub! Can you imagine soaking in that while looking out the huge windows in the master bedroom? And as you can see in the back there are his and her sinks..I think this is a must now that I'm sharing a bathroom with a boy and we only have one sink!
The master closet..need I say more?
The back porch; perfect for entertaining on warm spring and summer nights.
This beautiful room is part of the "casita," which literally means "little house." This is a guest house that is separate from the main house.
Those who are staying in the "casita" have their own patio complete with outdoor fireplace as well.
There it is...HGTV's 2010 Dream Home. I am (obviously) in love with it but what do you think? Do you like the extremely neutral and natural look of this house? Is there anything you'd like to see done a little differently? If you could have HGTV build your dream home where would it be located?
Well, whatever you think you can enter to win this home (plus a new car and $500,000) once a day until February 19th. Don't miss your chance!

Good Luck in the draw - I'm sure we will hear your screams all the way over here if you win!!! Have a great day - Tx
PS-Sorry, meant to also say that I could just live in the main closet! I'm sure ir is larger than our whole house!!! Good luck again :) - Tx
